3 ripe bananas
1/3 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Mash the Bananas: In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas using a fork until mostly smooth. It’s okay to leave a few small chunks for texture.
Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in the melted butter, then mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Ingredients: Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
Add Optional Ingredients: If you want, fold in the chopped nuts or any other mix-ins like chocolate chips or dried fruits at this stage.
Pour and Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool Down: Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and Enjoy: Once cooled, slice the bread and enjoy it plain or with your favorite spread!
