  • Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the Tomatoes: Halve the ripe tomatoes, and place them cut-side up on a baking sheet. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Roast the Tomatoes: Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until they are charred and fragrant.
